Cuckmere Sussex Print

The Cuckmere print features a minimalist illustration from the Sussex collection, a series celebrating the distinctive landscapes and coastal scenery of Sussex. Each design is created using a restrained colour palette of black, warm cream and a single accent colour, giving the collection its recognisable, graphic character.

Inspired by traditional linocut techniques, the artwork explores simplicity of shape, contrast and negative space. By stripping the illustration back to its essential forms, the design evokes a strong sense of atmosphere, light and openness while retaining a contemporary, timeless feel.

Each print in the range is titled SUSSEX and includes a small accompanying text reflecting the character of the landscape depicted.
